I keep getting an email with the subject "Login Verification Required"

This email is triggered when a user fails the Google reCaptcha on the login page. If you are using a VPN you may not even register a score on the reCaptcha and as such, will have to verify your login attempt via the email that is generated.

Google reCaptchas are a website's first layer of security against brute force attacks and automated bots.

For this reason, we would advise against logging in whilst you are connected to a VPN.
